Murcielago
**Lamborghini Murciélago**
The Lamborghini Murciélago is a mid-engine sports car produced by Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini from 2001 to 2010. It was the first Lamborghini model to be designed under parent company Audi's ownership, and its aggressive styling and blistering performance made it an instant icon. The Murciélago was powered by a 6.2-liter V12 engine that produced 580 horsepower, giving it a top speed of 209 miles per hour. It also featured a scissor-door design, which became a signature Lamborghini trait. The Murciélago was a commercial success, with over 4,000 units produced. It was succeeded by the Aventador in 2011.
